Jones Soda Holiday Packs

COME ON, WHO'S UP FOR IT?!?!

:D

Sold separately:
Sugar Plum soda
Egg Nog soda
Candy Cane soda

Jones Soda 2006 Dessert Pack:
Banana Cream Pie soda
Cherry Pie soda
Apple Pie soda
Key Lime Pie soda
Blueberry Pie soda

Jones Soda 2006 Holiday (Dinner) Pack: (c'mon you know it's really want you want to see)
Return of the perennial favorite: Turkey and Gravy soda!
With a big dollop of: Sweet Potato soda!
And a new side dish: Dinner Roll soda!
Can't finish without your veggies: Pea soda! Yes, Pea!
And finally, the coup de grace: Antacid soda!!

And for those who missed out on last years, I think 2005 packs are still available. Hell, they're probably still the ones left over.

Oh, glory.

you know, most of the Dessert pack doesn't sound too odious. Except when you throw the "pie" part in. I wonder how they'll do the crust. But, like, Key Lime Soda? I might drink that anyways.

And somehow, except for the PEA SODA the 2006 pack doesn't seem to hold a candle to the 2005. Just sayin'.

Even the Pea, I'm presuming, will fail to hold a candle to Broccoli Casserole or whatever that abomination was.

It's the Antacid that gets me though. Cause that's not even a food. That could be a whole new level of atrocity.

Yeah, but antacid is also something you might take in a liquid form. Like Pepto-Bismol. Or Alka-Seltzer. It's not a taste going with a totally incongruous texture. True that?

But is it usually watery and half-carbonated?

And I bet they figured out a way to work that stale butter taste into it again, those tricky guys!

Isn't Alka-Seltzer carbonatedish?

Mmmm. Butter Alka-Seltzer.

"Butter Alka-Seltzer."

Two words to strike fear into the heart of any mortal.

I shall have to regretfully decline, William, as I will not be able to attend this year. I tell you what, though - since I so enjoyed our last encounter with Mr. Jones and his Sodas, would you drink an extra chug on my behalf? I would consider it an honor (and you know, being Italian and now living in Japan, I'm all about honor).'

Thank you and good luck.

Sincerely, Your Friend,

James M. Barra, Esq.

My ticket's booked, so at this point, it's just easier to say that I'm there for the semi-anonymity of livejournal. But no, I'm still in the States for another 10 days.

Ok. I've never had the Jones sodas. But I read about them every year. I'm DEFINITELY in for this year. Bring it. Get a 2005 while you're at it. I'll do it!

Damn it, there's mouse shit all over my desk.

Oh, and Stewart's Key Lime soda is probably my favorite soda of all time. The desserts sound ok. And I know you're all up in that egg nog.

I refuse to drink Egg Nog soda, for I fear it could turn me off of Egg Nog eternally.

I think egg nog could probably beat you up and you'd still come crawling back, Will. Egg nog hits because egg nog loves you.

There's... there's just a lot of doorknobs and stairs where egg nog and I live... that's all.

I'm fine.

I'm fine.

No, officer, I'm fine.

And I'm clumsy. See these gangling limbs? I don't even know where they end. So I fall down a lot.

Really.

I'm fine.

Happens all the time.

I... I just worry about the little Noglos. I mean... they're fine, ha ha nothing wrong. Just -- what if Egg Nog "loves" our children as much as he "loves" me?!

I'm tempted to go back and read my reviews of last year's pack. UGh, that was just wretched. I still maintain that Turkey and Gravy was the worst. THey took probably the best part of holiday dinners and turned it into liquid, splenda-sweetened, carbonated turkey fat.
